     speechless spectacle.

      A gnarled pine -- lightning

      the mountain top is empty

Dad, my best friend ... gone.

       Giggles in the night

     Young children wrestling
     joy teeming from their faces

Friends are ice cream cones
they're all different flavors

Fishing for snow!        I let my best friend take the bigger snow ball.                  (yukitsuri is a kids game using a fishing rod with a piece of charcoal at the end; they let snow stick to the charcoal as much as they can.).	Yukitsuri ya       tomo ni ookina       hoo motase
